Ceramics, stones and porcelain (CSP) are the “enemy” of glass recycling and you need the highest performing optical sorter to remove any last CSP particle. This is where the Glass ColorSort™ steps in and delivers a knock-out performance. Furthermore, using the same sensor technology, you can sort the glass cullet by color into individual or any combination of the three main colors: flint (clear), amber (brown), and green. Other colors such as blue, red, yellow, etc. can be sorted out as separate colors, combined with the other contaminants, or “grouped” with one of the main three colors. It’s all up to the operator to decide.
