Next-Generation Optical Plastic Sorting for PRFs
Engineered especially for use in plastic recycling facilities, the CIRRUS PurePlasticMax™ is the industry’s most efficient optical sorter for plastic bottles. PurePlasticMax™ accurately identifies and sorts all conventional plastic resins that are used in the manufacturing of containers but also less common materials like PET-G, PLA, black plastics, etc. Using advanced algorithms and high-resolution NIR, color and optional metal sensors, PurePlasticMax™ performs full object analysis to capture even the most challenging materials, such as fully sleeved bottles and short fills.
Best In-Class Optical Sorter
Engineered Our proprietary MaxSelect™ sequential technology provides the best combinations of scan rate, number of wavelengths, and NIR wavelength range (up to 2,500nm). The integrated clearLight™ technology provides the best signal-to-noise ratio of any optical sorter in the industry because MSS doesn’t use gratings or light beam splitters. A continuous automated internal calibration virtually eliminates the need for manual re-calibration on a regular basis. The sensor housing is under constant positive pressure which eliminates dust accumulation on the inside.
PurePlasticMax™ Sort Efficiency
In an independent 2016 study, PurePlasticMax™ topped five other competitors with the highest sorting performance. The study focused on the identification of PET bottles of various colors (substrate) behind partially or fully sleeved labels of various colors.
